Rule #1:Water proof your shoes.

When not in use, shoes should be water proof. Water proof heels are made of special, closed cell resin that when submerged in water will turn into 2000 times more resin than a typical wood shoe. In other words, if you are buying the shoes, purchase a pair with say half the price of the shoe (in other words purchase value) then you will have to spend half the time and money to water proof them when you are ready to wear them.

Rule #2: overload and cloth toe your shoes.

When it is time to wear your water proof shoes for wet weather, don’t forget the industrial grade anti-microbial treatment your shoes will need. Also, beware of the potential wet weather your shoes may get exposed to. When standing in a wet environment, a classic pro is to ” Lash” a cloth toe mark on the back of your true, or to use a little olive oil. Cloth or synthetic toes will eventually wear out (over time), and if performing your performance in a wet environment, a non-water proof pair of shoes could get wet just like the original shoe did.

Rule #3:Rotation is the key to long lasting shoes.

Unless your shoes are manufactured with another heroic quality, like titanium, rotating lenses, you should expect your shoes to break over time. In other words, your shoes will wear out before your feet do.

Rule #4:Flats not only mean “slip-ons”, but they also mean “womans shoes/boots”.

Women have a sub-conscious when it comes to their footwear. This is especially true for women who might be feeling some very nice…comfort from women’s flat shoes. However, many women…often do not wear flat shoes. Instead, they have a variety of shoes they rotate through.

One very comfortable low shoe that women often use is the fisherman’s or fisherman’s boot. These boots are basically fisherman’s shoes (with a slight heel) that are particularly designed to cope with terrain and water. They are very durable, and are usually made of rubber. There are many colors for these shoes, although mostly they are either black or brown.

Most women tend to wear nice closed shoes. These tend to be comprised of very lightweight and flexible light material. The most famous brands are natural fiber types, such as leather.

For hiking, running, and other such activities, a moccasin-type shoe that features a soft sole is typically a good choice. The soft soles help to keep your feet cool, and the slightly flexible mid sole helps to give you stability.

Rule #5:Make your insole the best you can.

The best part about women’s boat shoes is that their insole is really worth its weight in gold. But as I pointed out earlier, people tend to take this to the extreme. After all, why would you plow in $20 to $40 worth of leather into the inferior product when you can find a much better product out that didn’t cost so much?

A good insole is normally made of leather, but man-made interlining is also acceptable.

Rule #6:When in doubt…buy a pair of women’s deck shoes.

I said this at the beginning, but with women’s deck shoes, you actually gain utmost benefits, and they are very general. The first time a person thinks about these shoes is when some jack loads of boating enthusiasts are asking what the difference is between women’s and men’s deck shoes. Then, they get back to what the difference is between women’s and men’s boat shoes. Then, the person loses interest.

However, when there are various brands of women’s boat shoes, you will see more people making the effort to care for them. You are more likely to find people talk about other shoes instead of their boat shoes when you are in a SB (Science Shakespeare) party. In other words, if someone else is concerned about their deck shoes, they have a good sense of style, and care enough to alter theirs.

Rule #7:Make your clothes shine.

Clothes with a shine to them are usually good choices. If you get it wet, no clothes are impossibly water repellent.
